Using non-OEM fog light in OEM fog light housing

I've had eBay "OEM" fog lights, and I've had actual Honda OEM fog lights, and I'm sick of them breaking or cracking. I want to get real fog/driving lights that won't break but I don't want them to look non-OEM. Has anyone fit aftermarket driving lights into the OEM molding? Ideally I would like to get a set of HID driving lights and somehow fit them into the existing OEM fog light molding. Does anyone know if this is possible, and if so, what aftermarket driving lights fit?

bmw m3 ebay style projector fogs. The light output sucks (as in cant even see it) but they look cool as hell especially matched with tyc headlights.

My OEM fog lights are the ones that broke, so I'm trying to avoid using those. The glass is too flat, any stone is going to break it. I want something like the BMW projectors. Those will never break.
The OEM fog lights don't help with the lighting much, so I don't care that the BMW ones don't either, I just don't want to have huge holes in my bumper, or have to keep replacing the OEMs. Thanks

i felt the same way. and the bmw ones almost look like no fogs are there cause its all black. its pretty easy to mod too, just reuse the screws and you'll have to drill a few holes and glue it in place a bit, but it works.

Thanks gearbox, but I think I'll try the BWM mod first. I like the idea. What bulbs do they use? Can I use any hiper-white type bulbs to maybe get some more light out of them?

They use H3. Its kinda like H1 and still 55w. i'm just using the clear ones it came with. i tried the nokya yellow but they are terrible and not even yellow like the H4 version was. so white for me. I'm sure you could find a hyper white replacement.
