Question Power locks problem

Hello everyone, I have a problem in my 1999 civic sedan EX which was present for a long time now, but I am finally trying to fix it.. The power locks do not seem to be working, but when I flick the switch that is on the drivers door, the only thing that happens is that I hear a click noise. I was able to trace the noise to be coming from the Door Lock Control (blue box in the driver`s door) but from there I don't know how to proceed. The switch seems to be working but I am unsure. The power windows and electric mirrors work. My keyfob (which was not originally in the car) has a keyless entry, but when I go and press the unlock door button, again, the only thing I hear is the click noise coming from the Door Lock Control... Can someone please help me? Thanks

Re: Power locks problem

The actuators are probably dead, you can test them by applying power and ground directly

Re: Power locks problem

I took down every actuator from the doors and tried them one by one. They all seem to work fine... This doesn't seem to be the problem...

Re: Power locks problem

If they weren't connected to the lock mechanism the motor won't have any resistance/load on it and will probably operate ok. Need to have it in the door and apply power and ground to the connector

Re: Power locks problem

Broken wires in the harness would be my next guess
