Canadian 98 SI Cluster issues
Canadian 98 SI Cluster issues
Hello everyone, new to this site so not sure if anyone had this issue before but,
When i bought the car the speedo seemed off. Reading 10km/h faster than what i was traveling at.
Hooked up my p28 with Hondata S300 v3 and noticed the tach was off by 200rpm give or take.
Coolant temp reads low but reads fine on the s300
Fuel gauge might be a bit off too hard to tell because i always keep it above half tank.
Any help on this situation would be great thank you

Re: Canadian 98 SI Cluster issues
considering he other issues, it might be electrical/electronics issue, but must check this first:
- Speedo
- are your tires close to the stock tires OD? OD will affect speedo.
- is the transmission the stock one for the car? There might be some gear ratio differences
- is the cluster the original one for the car?

engine and trans are stock to the car D16y8 s40 trans.
I don't know if the cluster is stock to the car, as when i bought it the cluster was already there,

My speedo is 10 km/hr off with stock tires at highway speeds. I'd say it's normal. It's a 20 something year old economy car
