The right hand rear door handle snapped off in my hands a few weeks ago. Wasn't extremely cold or anything and the plastic still looked pretty robust. Maybe someone attempting to break in?
Anyway, I received a new handle from the local junkyard and noticed that one side of the handle is missing a bolt/stud. It must have fallen out when they pulled the handle. Does anyone if that is glued in at the factory or press fit? I don't have the old one out yet to see if I can reuse the stud from the broken handle. Pic is not the actual item, only for reference.

Re: Snapped rear door handle
I replaced a rear handle on my mom's ''04 civic sedan a few years ago. Its probably pressed in but unfortunately I can't remember.
You may get away with using the stud from the old handle and JB Weld it in place.
