She died while driving
What does it mean when the cars fuel pump does not prime - the car cranks but doesn't start.
The fuel pump fuse is good and this is the first time it's happened. Haven't been able to start it since.
I'm leaning towards - check if the fuel pump is getting power, and if it is, replace fuel pump and filter.
What do you think?
I plugged in the OBD2 scanner - nothing

Re: She died while driving
Thanks for the replies,
The fuel pump has been priming and i started it a few times - in the last 24 hours.
Seems to be intermittent which makes me think that i'd need another tow when it happens again.

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Re: She died while driving
Calling a tow truck to drag the car to work and back seems a bit redundant and inefficient....., a taxi or uber might be cheaper.
Very efficient: Order a pizza to be delivered to work and catch a ride with the delivery driver
Save tow fees: Don't drive your car past the end of the driveway until it's fixed
You might toss the main and pump relays at it? Those are probably cheaper than a tow truck
Would be nice to actually be able to diagnose and prove exactly what the true problem is, not just guess and toss parts
