Replaced Fuel Pump - Won't start
Replaced Fuel Pump - Won't start
Greetings,
My 2002 Civic LX wasn't starting very well. So....I changed out the Fuel pump, and Fuel Filter. Now it won't start at all. I took the fuel pump assembly to a local shop, and they tested the pump with 12V's. The pump works. I checked the Fuse that is associated to the fuel pump. Does anyone have suggestions on what to do next?
Thank you for any help that you can provide!
Kevin

Re: Replaced Fuel Pump - Won't start
Fuel pump issues usually present as no fuel or loss of power under acceleration due to low pressure.
If you car is not throwing any codes, I would check the timing belt to make sure you didn’t skip a tooth or two.
If you didn’t buy a actual Honda fuel pump, you should reinstall the original one and see if it starts works as before.
