check engine light

i got a ticket for my intake, now i have to take it to the referee. I heard if you have your check engine light on, you automatically fail. So i dont know how to turn mine off. I already reset the ecu by disconnecting the battery, but i dont knw what else to do. And i dont knw about you guyZ, but it takes along time to put my stock intake back on. Thanks

If you got a check engine light from your intake...you did something wrong with the installation.

To answer your question, yes...alot of states will now fail you if you pull a code.

Yeah, like Pestlnc said, sounds like you did something wrong when you installed the intake. You shouldn't get a CEL from installing an intake. Double check your work and make sure all your connections are secure.
