Has anyone have their check engine light come on and then it's followed by an increase in your idle? I have, my light came on and then my idle went up to 1500rpm a day later. I took it in to Honda to fix and the code that triggered the light was from the TPS(throttle position sensor). They said they re-adjusted the sensor and cleared the codes. Well, when I picked up my car, the light was still on and my idle was still too high. So, I scheduled another appointment about a week later. The day before the appoinment, everything went normal so the service guy told me not to bring it in. Has anyone else ran into this problem? My invoice lists that my "aftermarket filter could be the potential cause but requires further investigation".

Maybe try putting on the stock air filter assembly if you still have it, for testing purposes only.
