Ok i know their is a way u can see if ur brake pads r worn from looking inside the wheel.s but i do not know how, do u guys check the mileage and can tell when the brake pads should be changed from their, Anyways, i'm only at 4,500 miles, so my car is pretty new still but i don't want to get
ed over and wear my brake pads out and destroy my rotors.

You'll hear them start squeaking. There a metal piece on the pad that rubs on the rotor it gets real loud. You can't miss it you'll know it when you hear it. I would'nt worry untill you have atleast 30,000 miles, unless you deliver mail in your car[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]

a) you hear constant grinding
b) you hear a squeeking (first when you turn only, then steadily)
c) your steering wheel + car vibrates when you apply the brakes (warped rotors - do rotors & pads)

the earliest you will likely have to do your front brakes is around 30,000 miles - the latest being around 65,000 miles.

the back brakes will likely NEVER need to be done, they are good for 100-200,000 miles.
