Knocking when turning the wheel

So I lowered my es1 and changed my outer tie rods and and I’m still getting a knocking when turning the steering wheel what could it be

Installed them correctly? One time I purchased and installed a left (driver) and a right (passenger) outer tie rods. The parts had stamped on them "left" and "right". I installed them without first matching the angle/bends to old tie rods and afterwards got a knock on the drivers side. It turned out the driver's side outer tie rod was labelled/stamped incorrectly. I returned the part for the correct angle and it solved the issue.

Control arm bushings? Did you check to see what's loose before throwing parts at it?

the outer tie rods where the only parts that seemed shot but I just changed them and still knocking

Could be the upper strut mount binding/slipping. I am assuming this is a noise that started after the lowering? Lowering springs? Are they indexed properly?
