3rd attempt VTEC solenoid

Okay back in June I had a check engine light come on. Waited till I got back home I was in Florida at the time to fix it. Got a P2646 code (oil pressure switch). Bought a new one light went off for about a week. Came back on same code went and exchanged and got another brand new. Light went off came back on. Replaced the VTEC solenoid all together light went off for a week came back on. I’m stuck don’t know what to try next. 2004 Honda Civic ex 1.7

I haven’t changed my oil filter since the first problem but I will definitely give do that today and see about going from 5w-20 to 10w-20

Re: 3rd attempt VTEC solenoid

I very rarely have to replace the valve. Most issues I see are either low oil level or restricted oil filter. Change oil and filter FIRST?
