Weirdest Issue Ever
Weirdest Issue Ever
The car is a 2004 Honda Civic Ex 1.7
The car keeps dying, no power, cuts out, won't go pass 3500 rpms, check engine and emission lights are on...
What I have done is replaced battery and alternator and throttle position sensor
Overnight I'll put a battery charger on car and let it charge all night. When I start it up no emission light is one and car runs perfect. Then when I hit the first Stoplight the car instantly dies and looses all power and won't go pass 3500 rpms.
I've heard a Crankshaft Position Sensor could be the issue... But would that cause the battery to loose juice?

But wouldn't a bad CKP essentially prevent the car from even starting? I know of people that had bad CKP and the car wouldn't even start.... In my case the car does start up.
