How do I disarm the alarm without a remote?

I have a 2003 Civic EX. Only have the Valet Key. No remote. Driver side exterior door lock is messed up. Had to change the battery. When I connected the new battery, the alarm went off and I don't know how to disarm it. Help!

If this has a dealer installed accessory security system:

Connect battery. Let the alarm scream all it wants to.

Get in the car.
Insert the key in the ignition.
Turn the ignition ON.
Alarm should STFU.

If it's an aftermarket alarm, you're on your own.
