When starting up and leaving for first time of the day the first couple take offs , you'll hit the gas about 1/2 way and it'll go then slightly hiccup. So slight I'm not sure hiccup is the right word. If taking off sounds like this "mmmmmmmm shift . It goes mm_mmmmmm shift. So just a slight pause? Not slipping just a very slight pause. Anyone have an idea about this quirk.

a slight hesitation is normal for any cold engine

I wasn't concerned more of curious. I've always had stick shifts and any automatic I've had was beater cars that didn't work right anyway . In a stick I never had that hesitation.
