I should start off by saying I'm a new driver, and also driving a stick shift 2005 honda civic DX 2 door sedan.

Most of the time when reversing out of my garage, theres a weird sound that occurs as I'm easing up on the clutch and giving it gas. It sounds like sparks(or a fireworks sparkler), or at least thats how I'd describe it. It doesn't happen all the time, but i'd say 8/10 times. It only happens when I'm in reverse. And I only reverse in the morning out of my garage. It also just passed its safety and emissions last week, and noticed it right after. I was wondering if its something to worry about, or if its something simple like not balancing the clutch/accelerator correctly. Could it be possible that I'm giving it too much gas and I'm letting go of the clutch too fast or not fast enough? Or that I'm not giving it enough gas?
