So i have just a boring old 05 civic coupe nothing special. Few months ago clutch went out, got a new stock clutch put in, and within a week at middle-high rpms theres a louder depending on high rpm is screech when pushing the clutch pass the release point. Any ideas? If im near redline, which I enjoy doing, its like ear shattering. The shop where i got the new clutch put in at is a pain in the *** and i dont want to deal with them

That was probably your first mistake. No warranty with the work?

I don't know what your noise could be, but since you didn't do the work yourself, I suspect most people are going to tell you to take it back to the shop that did the work. And if that doesn't work for you, take to another shop/mechanic or a dealership. At least with the dealership I think you would get some sort of warranty.

Well i have a warranty on it for a year but i want an idea of what it could be to possibly fix myself its its something simple.

If it occurs when you press the clutch pedal and begins at the time you start to feel the clutch disengage the transmission, I would guess clutch thowout bearing.
