99 Accord problem.. Please help!!

Okay so recently my car has been acting up and I don't know what the problem is exactly..
My gauges & speedometer are dropping to zero for a split second but then jump back up. My radio shuts off & the clock in my car resets. This is the first problem I've had since owning this car. Also as I drove the last time the 'check engine' light had came on, pulled into my drive way turned my car off, went to start it and it wouldn't start. A few minutes later I started it again and everything was normal, and the check engine light was gone.

I've looked up on other forums and they've all said my alternator, ignition switch, and main relay? I'm a girl and don't know much about cars.. clearly. I'm learning! Help!!!

And may I add that it started doing this about a week ago. I drove a few times from when it started and it stopped doing it. Then on my way home yesterday it all of a sudden did it again. So it hasn't been consistent.

Hmmmm.
My logic says that the interior is losing all B+ power from the underhood fusebox.

Should I make comments about the kitchen, or sammiches?

Don't bother playing the girl card.
That's no excuse/reason/whatever.
Plenty of MEN don't know a darn thing about cars either.

Kudos for wanting to learn. Don't let my smartazz discourage you.

Ok, I don't know if you have a 4 cylinder or V6. Doesn't really matter right now.
I'd open the engine compartment fusebox, and inspect the wires and fuses that are held in with screws. These are the main power supply wires and heavy duty fuses. It SOUNDS like maybe one of the screws isn't tight and allowing poor contact as it vibrates or wiggles. Couldn't tell you which one, so check them all. (Or maybe a fuse has vibrated apart. Rare, and could be difficult to tell.) If a screw is loose, it should be real obvious when you try to tighten it.

Should be 2 large fuses and 2 wires. 6 screws total to check, I believe.

You could try leaving the car running and wiggling them too, see if it stumbles when you wiggle any particular item.
I'd just make sure the screws are all tight first and see if that takes care of it.

I'm thinking it will be one loose screw on the 100 amp fuse.
