i need help!!!my car is burning gas like a 12 cyl engine!

Exclamation i need help!!!my car is burning gas like a 12 cyl engine!
alrite.so i got a used em2 not too long ago.nd i got a new clutch in it and a tranny job..and now i noticed tht it burns gass way too fast..at first i thot the fuel gauge was just broken but the check engine lioght is on now..do you guys think its just the o2 sensor?

You'd have to pull the code to be sure. It could be a number of things.
