Show me your Titanium Metallic Civics!
Show me your Titanium Metallic Civics!
Hello everyone, first post here. I'm currently in the market for a used civic, and came across a great deal on one that happens to be titanium metallic. I'm a little bit worried about how to make this car look good once I get it, since I know that this "beigeish" color is not the best option to work with, and is often reserved for the elderly.
So prove to me that I can make this car look good, show me what you've done to your titanium metallic colored civics!

Re: Show me your Titanium Metallic Civics!
2002 LX, just bought it yesterday. Although no one on here seems to want to admit they have one, I'm not too worried about the color anymore. I feel that a few modest exterior tweaks will have it looking a bit better.
Re: Show me your Titanium Metallic Civics!
I have 02 LX Coupe titanium metallic, and the color doesn't bother me I wanted white or blue but was a good deal. I have done a few things to it (05 tails, blacked out headlights with projectors, EBAY fogs, and 17" rims) I will post up some pics when I get my Progress coilovers and get it lowered.

Yeah I didnt know it was called titanium metallic but thats what I got on my 03 civic ex. I just called it tan lol. Its not horrible and I can see it looking alright. Dont get it if you dont like the color though cause if you dont like it when you buy it then you won't like it when you have it. I didnt really have a choice in the matter but I'm keeping it since its gonna be paid off early next year.
Re: Show me your Titanium Metallic Civics!
MRI uses powerful magnets, that is what the M stands for. Things made of metal that reacts to magnets can be drawn to the magnet and move, others may heat up and cause pain and/or injury. Even some non-magnet reactive substances can cause artifact that makes the scan unreadable. Titanium is the best substance for MRI because it does not heat up or move and it has the least problems with artifact. In your medical record, it should say precisely what the metal is, and say if it is MRI safe, conditional, or prohibitive. Your doctor should be able to get those records from your previous doctor.
