...pulling up to an intersection and hearing nothing but clankity clank noise from the bimmer next to me.

I've been really happy these past few days. My car's been running so smooth and quiet after I did the major tune-up on my own.

Its good to hear your car is running good. The only thing on my car that makes noise like a clunk is my driver side stabilizer link is bad, still need to get that fixed but over all my car runs good and no problems.

I always find it very rewarding to do the work myself that way I know it's done right, and I have a feeling of accomplishment. Basically I know how you feel!
