Need advice please!

Thanks for everyone's help in advance. I'm having an issue with my 2003 Honda Civic EX recently and no shop can figure it out. Almost every time I drive the car it randomly loses power (not electrical power, mechanical power) and then it comes back after 10 seconds or so. The car doesn't turn off and all the guages still work. Its almost as if there is a ping pong ball in the gas tank and cuts off the gas (there isn't). I read a post that Honda says the fuel filter/pump is a lifetime part and doesn't need to be replaced. It is the only thing I can think of. Has anyone had this issue or know what the problem is? Thanks!

The fuel filter is probably clogged.

Know of any easy way to fix it or will I have to remove the fuel tank to get to it?

No the only real way to fix it is to get back there to the fuel tank and take the old one out and put the new one in.
