D17A1 Tranny rehaul

Looking for people's tips on doing this diy, i have the garage and know how.

Just not the lift, best i can do is get the car up on cinder blocks and pull it out from under the car, then put it up on the bench.

my problem is in red (input shaft bearing) wonder if i should just change it all since i want to keep the car. or am i going over the top..

Thanks
