drl relay?

hi everybody
this is my first thread,i hope somebody can help me
i have honda civic 2003 2 doors
when starting ,light "DRL" stays flashing with noise,and front head lamp passenger side stays off,after 4-5 minutes driving ,it stop flashing and lamp come on.
the technicien told me the drl relay should be replaced,and to get it ,take time and will cost more than 100$
if somebody knows how to reach this relay please tell me,and i am able to do it myself

should be in the manual, i think its behind the glove box. you could also have a bad drl module, alot of times the contacts need to be resoldered. module is under the dash (driver side).

i would thank you all in this forum
i removed the light runing module (grey box under steering wheel left side)
resolder all points,now it is ok

I took the fuse out of my fuse box that run's the drl module, I hate the fact that you can't turn the light's off after you drop the ebrake. and I need all the power I can get for the stereo hehe

just an fyi, if you live in canada its illegal to drive without a drl. the older usa civics before 2006 did not come with this feature unless the car was sold in canada.

same thing happened to my car...there are two relays in the DRL control module and all of the solder joints were cracked...i just resoldered them and the problem went away

Hi im having the same problem i just bought the new gray relay module drl and i opened the dash under the steering whell their was another dash opening thingy i opened that too but for some reason i cant get hold of the drl relay i can see it and touch but is their somehting else i need to open to actually unscrew it?

Thanks for this guys,
I had no DRL, and no left high beam. Found broken solder points on the 2 relays in the DRL control module (grey box under the dash, left of the steering column), re-soldered them, and now I am perfect.
