SRS Module Compatibility
My 02 civic has a srs module failure code. I've reset it myself, it always comes back on. Dealer replaced seat belt buckle, some sensor in the seat itself and also "re-programmed" the srs module. The light comes back on every time.
The car was in a front end collision by the previous owner. Not sure if the module was replaced, so I think its time to buy a new module.
I looked up the specific part number for my car on BK Honda's site (02 EX coupe w/side airbags). Part #77960-S5P-A11
Do I need to find a module with that exact part number, or will a module from a similar civic work as long as is from a 01-05 coupe w/ side airbags?
