2003 Civic LX automatic 77,000 miles. The SRS light came on. I found a post on another forum that said 2001-2004 Civics had trouble with the Ocupant Presence Detection Sensor (OPDS) and the switch in the seat belt buckle that tells the SRS system that the seat belt is buclked. The seat belt has a life time warranty and they extended the warranty on the OPDS to 150,000 miles or 10 years.
I called Honda and they said my car is not in the correct VIN range for the warranty extension.

Any help with truble shooting this will be appreciated.
