SRS Light and Cruise Control

Hi guys,

I just purchased a used 2000 Si and it's got a couple of issues that I'm hoping to fix with you guys' help. Right now, the SRS is on and cruise control doesn't work (lights up but doesn't engage when "Set" is pushed).

The auto shop says that the SRS light could be a driver seat belt buckle sensor issue, and fixing that might potentially fix the cruise control as well.

Any thoughts or ideas on how I might troubleshoot to see if these two problems are related?

Thanks!!

Re: SRS Light and Cruise Control

Diagnose each, then see if they may be related
(clockspring is the part common to both systems)
