This may sound like its no problem but its not how it was before on my other car.. I never used the stocked radio before so i don't know how regular radio suppose to work on civic..

I have a DEH-7900BT radio installed into my 05 hybrid.. but every time i turn my engine off, pull out the key, my radio turns off.. COMPLETELY..

What i mean is once its off the radio goes into reset mode..
When i turn my car on again the radio stay off.. until i manually turn it back on..


- on my old car (that i had this radio installed in) once the engine turns off the radio turns off, but once its on it resume w/e music i was playing or radio station i had on..


Could this be the Anti-Theft security in the car..?

Are the radio station memory presets and the clock reset each time car is turned off ??

Did you install the radio yourself? you may have not connected the constant 12 volt wire which holds the clock radio preset information
