open coin tray, remove single philips screw, yank out pocket and buttons piece, push out the cruise button from the back and unplug, look on the side for a twist socket and use screwdriver to turn it and unlock. you can buy the whole bulb and socket from honda, or goto auto store and buy naked bulb and just reinstall in the old socket by bending the wires around like stock. theres a light for the CRUISE letters and also one for the green ON light.

both the orange "Cruise" lettering and the green "On" lettering appears to be out. Does this probably mean that both bulbs are out, or would there be a fuse responsible for these interior backlights?

eh ya but its tricky cause they need resistors. you could put the resistor on the power wire outside of the switch if you can find which one it is. that will save space because its very cramped inside. also, leds are directional so it will not point out to the front but to the side and will not be bright. the bulbs are not standard size either theyre mini and have their own base.

sounds good. i did my main dash with leds and it was not too bad, those lil switches and stuff are much harder. i did it once with blue leds and magnet wire but there is not much space at all. i dont even have them lit up now.

well i used 5mm leds but really had to shave them down. the resistors depend on the led specs. you need to know the current, forward voltage, and total voltage. then you can use this calculator. actually you should look into using 3mm leds which are much smaller.
