so, i noticed about 2 weeks ago my battery light flickering on and off, but it would go away. Now, the battery light continues to flicker on and off and will not stop. i already replaced my alternator and battery. i got it checked out, but they could not figure out why, they tested the new battery and alternater and that was not the problem.

Can anyone think of a possible reason or solution?

its that short wire that runs from ur fuse or sumthing ... u know that short one that can get cut sometimes? someone should know exactly what im talking about

should not flicker, it either comes on ir it doesnt. wire is loose. if alt and batt come up good (make sure the tester knows how to do it), then its a cluster light problem.

wouldnt my whole cluster flicker ?? and it only happen when i am driving the battery light flickers,, than i put it in netrual the light doesnt come on i just tryed it on the way to work ,

yea, im going with loose wire now, check wires and stuff surrounding the alternator, battery, and all grounds

When the charging light flickers, do the headlamps dim or change in any way ??

Is it only happening while the car is moving ??

Im having the exact same problem. it just randomly flickers quickly when my rpms drop around 2.5k. anyone got a fix for this yet??

try tightening ur alternator belt first. does it squeal when wet? is it dryrotted and cracked?

i had that problem, belt would squeak at first in rain then all the time. turned out the alternator bolt was about to fall out.

nothing dims,,, i even try putting even thing on to see if it dim but nothing,, the battery light jus flickers when i drive!! its stupid! the car idles fine,,,

get ur codes pulled from like autozone, or what ever u have up there in canadia... see if u get any codes, even if ur light isnt on

soo i got my deck rewire,, thinging it would of solve the problem,, it stop the flickering !!! yea!! but now if i push my car up to 3000RPM,, the battery lights stays on until i shift than rev back up to 3000 it goes back on,, soo iam thinking its my altentor?? correct me if i am wrong,,

Update: soo i got the alternator / my belts change.... the battery didnt come,, hopefully this solve my problem... thanks for the people who help'd out
