hey guys. im in desperate need of some help. last night i hit a patch of ice and went up a curb. i pulled out of it and parked it, ripped off the plastic engine guard and after leaving wawa drove it back. since i had some extra time this morning i went back out to make sure it was ok. well, the cars vibrating awfully and its roaring when in idle and when i seem to speed up. i dont know whats wrong with it and was hoping someone knew what possibly happened. my friend suggested the engine mount may have been loose.

i have a feeling its partially that because my hood doesnt close all the way now and the frame in the front seems a little scratched up. i have to drive 20 miles home in like an hour. i want to make sure its ok to drive. i dont want it catching fire on the way home later.

any suggestions or ideas are cool. let me know what you think. im about to call the mechanic



btw. it doesnt appear to be leaking anything oil, gas, coolant, etc. so i dont think that should be a problem. only thing that was noticeable in that sense was a bit of oil on the engine guard when i looked at it this morning.

well where is all the damage? maybe the exhaust pipe got bent into the car body and is vibrating. could also be out of alignment. does it drive straight when you let go of the wheel?

yeah. i destroyed my subframe. and the radiator is a little messed up. gotta do some body work but the guy at the collision place said thru insurance itll be cheap. the reason it was vibrating was because the subframe got bent into an exhaust pipe
