removal of air bag seats...need help

Alright guys, I have a 2002 Civic EX with the side air bags built into the seats. My problem is that I want to replace them with newer seats. How do i take the seats out without damaging the rest of the front air bags and not having the side air bags deploy in my face. I tried posting in the 7th generation section but I figured this might be a more general question. I would like to put in seats without air bags in and i know that i will have to put in place some resistors to make the car think that the air-bag seats are still there. I could use all the help i can get. And do I have to go anywhere or get special documents to do this? Thanks again!

Question 1 = unbolt seats, unplug harness, remove seat
Question 2 = There's a D.I.Y. here somewhere with a paperclip for resetting/fooling the SRS system and will keep the light off.
