Knocking Noise

I hear a subtle knocking noise from my engine at idle. It's irregular and I can't tell if it increases with rpms cuz the exhaust is too loud.

hmm. try getting a friend, have them play with the gas while you open the hood and listen to the engine. that might help pin point the problem.

ahh i missed that, I move to protest that your can can idle while in neutral, and moving! ha.

knocking though hmm... are you all stock, auto or manual, how is your oil and belts? Is your fan off or on? Could be when one of your fans kicks on and is obstructed by something in the bay. Pop the hood and lean over the bumper and check the two fans- all clear?

haha technically it could be moving yes.

Mods:
Dc sports Race Header
Evo2 Catback
AEM V2 intake
Exedy stage 1 Clutch
Act Streetlite flywheel

Oil is good, belts are all tightened properly, does it whether fan is running or not, and i cant pinpoint the noise at all.
