i think my trunk lock is rattling when my sub is turned up. the mechanism on the inside seems like it can wiggle around. is there a way to silence it? i read people stuffed torn up t-shirts in the slots to silence other rattles coming from the trunk. would it affect the trunk release/lock if i start shoving stuff in there? any other ways to quiet it down? sounds hideous from the outside.

dynamat is really the only way to get that to stop rattling. but no matter what, its a civic, there will always be stuff rattling with subs

Best way to get it to stop rattling is actually in the front of your car...its called the volume ****. Sorry not much of a help, but that will fix it.
