How to Reset Keyless Entry in default mode?
Pls help me out!
Not sure which button I pressed but it's seems now my 02 Honda Civic SI's keyless entry worked in a silent mode:
Normally, after I pressed the LOCK button, the parking light will flash twice and the horn will chirp once to indicate that system works, but right now only a little "click" sound can be heard by lockers.
I searched on this forum, and tried the followed:
but it doesn't work for me.
Any one have any better idea? thx a lot!

- Press LOCK once, the door will lock as usual but no matter how many times I push again, the parking light will not flash and the horn keeps silent.
- Press UNLOCK the door will unlock and after 30 seconds will relock automatically.
- There is a LED named "Anti-theif" will flash after door locked.
- The battery of remote is good.

I searched on this forum, and tried the followed:
- as far as i know you cant adjust it but you can turn it off, turn the key to accessory and turn it back off than push the flashing alarm led button in it should stay solid and that means its off, to turn it back on do the same thing and the light should turn off or start flashing....the led light is to the left of the steering wheel and to the right of the mirror and moonroof controls if you didnt know
- One way to reset to change different modes is to hold the drivers door open while you press the lock button 3 times and then get in, close the door, and start the car up. Its all messed up. I have an 01 EX and it seems my alarm is a bit different than your setup.
Any one have any better idea? thx a lot!

check to see if both of your doors are locking. if one of your power door lock actuators failed, the lights wont flash and the horn wont sound. happened to me before.

Rep Power: 0 One more thing is, if I locked the door and want to open the door manually, there is no light flashing and horn chirp as well, which seems I lost anti-theft function.
