Haven't changed the filter for like 30000km...i know i know....should change more often....

Tried to untighten the screws...I swear to god.....i can't get them off....and it's already stripping cuz i'm putting so much torque on them...
What should I do?

Soaking with penatrating fluid helped on mine! Even just wd40 should help, but the socket is a good way to go!

when taking the screws off, be VERY careful not to use too much strength (even though it seems that is required)..... several members on here completely ripped off the piece that holds the screw in place..... too many of those and the airbox is useless.

mine are stripped- I can thank a bad mechanic for that... basically I have to forget about checking that thing until whatever mileage... I'm thinking of replacing it with an Injen CIA and forgetting about the whole thing.

I wouldnt buy an Injen CAI. your better off with the stock intake. for one the filter sits at the bumper so you run the higher risk of sucking up water. second, it gets extremely dirty very fast. third if you want to clean it you have to remove the bumper to do so. its easier to remove a few screws every 12k miles or so.
