Squeaky chirp in the front end... stumped....
I just can't find it. I can nail down the symptoms, but as far as something being broken, I've yet to find anything at all.
I get a bit of a squeaky chirp noise when I:
-turn over the starter and the car fires
-let the clutch out into 1st (possibly others, can't hear it)
-go over a gentle to moderate bump where the suspension's movement would be gradual.
I'm honestly stumped. With the clutch and the starter, I thought motor mount, but they all ***appear*** to be fine. I was unable to push the motor in any direction more than a hair in any direction and as far as I can see, nothings ripped or broken. I checked the ball joint and the shock assembly, and they both also appear fine, and I can't see how that would have anything to do with the clutch/starter.
One dumb one I kinda think it might be is the damn exhaust hanger muddling around down there now that I sit here and type.... I could see that making noise anytime the engine moved... damn, gotta go back down and look.... now I'm glad I started typing. Anyways, if its not that, I'm open for suggestions.
I checked the CV joints.... which are fine, ball joints are fine, motor mouts are fine. The only thing that worried me internally was the throwout bearing, but that wouldn't effect the suspension.
****, now I'm rambling and I need to check the hanger.

I know... but if it is, I can't find where its ripped. Best guess if it is a MM, its the one on the transmission. I guess I need to tear into it some more.
