clacking sound around right front tire

Rep Power: 0 Take your tire off, and check the sway bar end link. If you should be able to pivot it, but if you yank back and forth you need a new one. If not check for play in ball joints. Also a thick rust ridgeon the brake rotor would cause a noise, but more of a rubbing noise on the backing plate. Hope this helped!

Rep Power: 0 i have the same noise in the same place...i get it everytime i brake... i just had new brakes and new ball joints put in about 1 1/2 months ago... when i brake i hear a clacking sound on the front right side of the car.
