HELP just changed belts now i have a turbo

HELP just changed belts now i have a turbo

ok i just changed both belts on my 01EX and now it sounds like i have a freakin turbo under the hood a nice whine from 3k to limiter. i dont want to muff anything up. has this happended to any one else? they are dayco poly cog belts

make sure there's not too much play in the belts.
More than likely they're just loose.

My guess is they're too tight, probably caused the alternator bearing to prematurely fail or something of that nature.

Either way, check your tension.
