Rep Power: 325 my suspension is popping
i've been noticing it a lot lately. for example when i'm backing out of my drive way and i start to cut the wheel i hear "pop....pop....pop" until i quit cutting it. if i'm just turning the wheel to go around a turn while going really slow it'll do it as well. my major suspension mods are eibach prokit springs and tokico blue's.

Rep Power: 281 i think its your top mounts. although i'm not 100% sure, it sounds a lot like what happens when you get teins/B&Gs and do not get the '01 civic top mounts; it makes a popping noise when you turn the wheel.

I have a stock civic and the same thing happens. Any ideas? Guess I will tell the dealer when I take it for a oil change next month...car still under warranty. Honda quailty is not what it used to be.

Rep Power: 279 i have basically the same set up. prokits and kyb agx's and i get a popping noise out of my driver front wheel. i think the shock isnt indexed properly becasue i have had the ball joints checked and that one actually was replaced. otherwise the spring could have come unseated.

Rep Power: 274 I got the Tokico blues and Tokico springs set.
I had the same noises with stock suspension and aftermarket.
No idea what it is. Tried reindexing, and checking cv boots neither are the problem.

Rep Power: 788 well my 02 only noise it had was creaking but rear sway bushing lube fixed that for a while. otherwise no noise. all the pops and cracks started with new springs.

The noise is from the top strut mounts which contacts the body of the car. There is paint and spurs between the contact points of the mounts and the body. You can file it smooth and put shims and grease there.
I recalled seeing the TSB on this. I'll try to dig it up and post.

Rep Power: 0 mine also pop when I turn, but they only started doing that the last week or so. for the last 2-3 weeks now though, my car has been making clunking noises from the front drivers-side of the car. i replaced all 4 struts in november with oem replacement ones, and its not the same noise/symptoms as I was getting when the struts were shot. it sounds like ball joints (sounds just like my celica did when mine went on it)
oh, btw its an 01 Si Coupe (Ex in the states), stock (basically - nothing suspension wise anyways) with 57 xxx km's.
