ShAkInG FeLt On RiGhT SiDe

i recently starting feeling this shake on the right side of my car, i feel it on the steering wheel, towards the right side but only in the low gears, i thought it was maybe a loose lug, well i was hoping it was that and nothing more, but now i dont know where to go from here, im afraid it might be the transmission, any help would be great. thanx

Get or check the following:

1. That the tire pressure is the same in both tires.
2. A tire balance weight might have a came off the rim.
3. Get the alignment checked.

Either will cause the symptoms you are discribing.

Youre not the only one, i just got back from the dealership, they blamed it on the exhaust.....like greddy would mess something like that up..... anyway, i went back where i got the exhaust, and one of them has an 03/04 civic (didnt ask) and he has the same issue also, mine seems to only happen when it rains. as i quote mr. service guy at the dealership "its more than likely the water hiting your exhaust since its a bigger pipe and not double walled like the stock pipe is, your probably getting the noise of the water hitting the hot pipe and the road noise also" another guess by the motorsports store is that its the heat shielding, that a possibility?

Well punking civic the shaking isnt constant its more like when i sway side to side or when i slightly brake and turn at the same time, its so recent i havent been able to exactly pinpoint when is it that it does it, it started just 2 days ago, any other possiblities maybe shocks, springs struts idk what do you think??? 05civicfun i have a stock exhaust so it cant be that, all i have changed is my intake.

I think i found out what it is, i was double checking my tires when i noticed the bushing on the "Strut Tower Brace" thats what i think its called its shaped like a boomerang the middle portion is where the tire is and at the endpoints are these round rubber bump stops which i think are the bushings correct me if im wrong, well point is the front "bushing" had the rubber broken as opposed to the other side (driver's side) which looked intact. i think this is the source of my problem. if anyone doesnt agree plz write baq. bcause im skeptical about the source of my problem, a little missing piece of rubber making my steering wheel shake just doesnt sound right.

Angry Right front shaking on my car as well

I have the same problem as you described on your car. I just had the clutch replaced for it was slipping, and had the complete cv axles replaced due to a tear in the boot on the passenger side. The lubricate in the CV boot came out and caused the clicking noise when you turned the vehicle due to no lubrication( both sides right and left replaced). The shaking did not start until I had these items replaced and the place where it was done looked over the vehicle and checked it for more than 4 hours and could not figure out what is causing this problem.

The problem only happens from 0 - 40 mph then it does not do it anymore. It is not a severe chatter or shake, but it is noticeable and would like to find out what is causing this problem. The next thing I may do is have an alignment done on the car and see what happens.

MYHONDACIVICSI I was right about what is wrong with my car but its not call the "strut tower brace" lol, ne-wayz its the front compliance bushing on the lower control arm that is shot. i dont know if its true but i was told these bushings generally last the life of the car....my luck, well check urs out may be the cause of ur prob.

I have the same problem also. I also had my cv joint replaced and axle rebuilt and it still does it. I'm about to give up and take it into the stealership.

Can't you just replace the bushing and the problem is solved? Or you do you have to replace the entire arm?
