Civic won't start!!! PLEASE HELP!!!

So...I go out to my car this morning and it won't start. Not only will it not start but nothing comes on when I turn the key. No dash lights, no interior lights, nothing. I checked the battery and the porthole is green. The connections to the battery are good. I checked all of the fuses etc. And nothing. Tried to jump the car and still nothing. And the digital readout for my capacitor for my system is off too. I still think the battery is dead, but does anyone else have a better idea of what it could be? Has anyone else had the same experience?

If nothing turns on at all when you turn the key... then it's your battery or your battery connection.
If you have a volt meter, test the battery. Also check all the wires for any loose connections and make sure the battery terminals are corrision free.

If the battery IS drained you will have to charge it for a while before attempting to start it. A battery charge would work better than a jump start.

If the jumper cables are hooked up do the dash lights start to work then ??

The dash lights do NOT turn on when the jumper caples are connected. I am going to take the battery to AutoZone so they can check for charge and charge it if it needs it. Thanks for your help guys. I will let you know what happens.

careful, man...

batter might not be the sole problem. especially when u said the eye on the battery was green...

might be ur alternator not properly charging your battery.
