ok well i was driving home from work and this stupid person in front of me wasnt paying attention and they run over some gravel and goes all over my car and i notice that my windshield had a little crack in it, its about eye level but it isnt that big. Its like an upside down T and the widest part is around less than a quarter of an inch. I know that crack usually spreads pretty quickly but it hasnt spread at all in about 4 days and it has been really cold at night than pretty warm during the day. should i just leave it or i heard there is stuff you can put on it to prevent it from spreading, or should i just get a whole new windshield cause it annoys the **** out of me everytime i drive cause its right in front of my face,thanks

you can get it repaired. they have people that charge between $20-$100 to fix cracks. I paid $40 for 2 cracks in my windshield and after it was done, I couldnt tell I ever had a crack. I say get it repaired.

^^^ As long as it is not close to the edge they have a procedure for repairs. Sometimes the insurance will cover cost.

Im sure you can find something in your local yellow pages, like Speedy auto glass or something.

Any trusted local glass shop can do it. If it is too near the edge they cannot repair it.

call your insurance company... often time they will cover small cracks for free or little cost to you to prevent the cost of replacement of a windshield

ummm insurance companies should repair the front windshield......the rear is a different story.......at least here in florida they replace it w/o penalty
