replace the 02 sensor. Its going to be the 02 sensor at the cat converter. the idleing like **** is from that faulty o2 sensor. replace it and you should be good to go. usually I would tell you to diagnosis the check engine light first just to make sure you have no wiring problems or anyting, But I am pretty sure its the o2 sensor.

Thanx, im going to try the mechanical 02 simulaters with the spark plug non foulers tommorow. If they dont cure the problem i'll buy the 02 sensor.

why not just buy a new o2 sensor? it is about $60 from the dealer, $40 from majestic honda.

I think you refer "the 02 sensor at the cat converter" to the secondary sensor after the cat converter. If the car is "idleing like a ****" the secondary sensor haven't any influence on it. This secondary sensor is just for cat efficiency, not for engine management...

Check the primary O2 sensor.

although that is correct about the sensor, but the code given was for bank 1 sensor 2. that isnt the primary sensor. that is the sensor monitoring the cat. Now that sensor can play a role in the air/fuel mixture. yes it does monitor the cat converter and signals the ECU that it is working or not working, but when the sensor itself goes bad, it can effect engine perfomance. and if the check engine light is on and the car runs rough, 9 times out of 10 it is because of that problem.

correct. the code is actually for the secondary o2 sensor, not the catalyst.

sil04ver is an unknown quantity at this point
I have the same code, from when I put an EX exhaust system on my DX. Bought a wire-in MIL eliminator, didnt work. Bought a Caspers plug-n-play eliminator, didnt work. Gonna try and replace the o2 sensor this time, I dont wanna have to sell my header and exhaust
