Blinker

Hey people,

Our Blinker/Hazzards have gone out. For some reason they still light up but they don't work (blink) when you try them. Any help?

Thanks all.

Hmmm... wonder if you blew the control fuse.... Never heard of that happening, but I guess there's a first to everything...

neither time but the lights do work though. that is the weird thing. I am thinking it may be in the actual steering wheel but that wouldn't explain the hazards also not working. Is there a relay or something?

yes there is a relay and I would suspect that if neither are flashing. You can physically check the relay or buy another one. If you have a Multimeter, let me know and I will tell you how to check the relay.

I have the wiring info from an 01 on this circuit if you need it pm with E-Mail.

It is called a "TURN SIGNAL/HAZARD RELAY" on the sheet I have.

Could well be the problem.

it is underneath the steering wheel in the dash fuse box. Just remove the dash piece under the steering wheel by loosening those 2 plastic screws and look on the diagram for it. It is the relay on the right side of the fuse box. should be easy to get.

there are only 4 relays in the dash fuse box. The starter cut relay, power window relay, turn signal/hazard relay and the taillight relay. The turn signal/hazard relay is the largest relay in there. The one farthest to the right of the box.
