i turned the steering wheel, but nothing happened...
ok, so this is the story. i was in the parking lot of the mall today. and you know how sometimes the person in front of you is waiting for a spot? well, i decided to go around the person, so i turned my steering wheel to the left (to pass this person on the left), and after that i immediately turned my steering wheel to the right again (so that i dont crash into the parked cars
). well, while i was turning my steering wheel to the right, i felt pressure in the steering wheel (like something wasnt letting me turn it), and for a split second, my car wouldnt turn.

ok, this is a lil diagram, just in case you guys didnt quite understand it. for some reason, no one ever understands me
anyways, the slanted lines are the parked cars. and the "|" is the car in front of me. and, im the happy face. so you see, to get around this person, i had to turn left, and then turn right a lil bit so that i would keep going straight.
any idea if something might be wrong? im mostlikely gonna bring it to the dealership tomorrow or thursday. i just wanna get an idea of what might be wrong, cuhz right now its 8pm, so the dealership is closed.
edit: for some reason, my comp wont let me make the slants more farther apart, so it looks all funky now. but i hope y'all get the idea.

if you like to turn the wheel all the way in one direction and keep it there for more than a second, you will eventually ruin the ps pump.

fivespeeder, my car was in motion, and there was nothing in the road i believe.
gearbox: i didnt turn the wheel all the way...i turned it a lil more than half a turn? basically as much as you would when passing a car in a parking lot i guess.

ok it's tough to say exactly what happened in the parking lot, cuz i wasn't there.
what rpms where you at? my car does that sometimes too idk if it is the rps level or what but it just feels like my p/s goes out but it really doesnt, listen man dont worry about it, your car is fine. but i would check your p/s level and condition flushes, i know honda rec. a tranny flush at 40,000 (sched. maint.) so the p/s should be around there somewhere...just an idea, but yea, it's fine

On the back of the steering wheel are four holes they use to put the screws in the steering wheel. When I had 2 7thgens, my key chain was rather large and if I turned at just the right velocity and angle, the keys from the other car would get stuck in the back of the steering wheel and prevent me from turning my car. This happened to me once when I was pulling on to a major road, I bent my other car key with my steering wheel to prevent hitting other cars. If you have a large key set, you may want to check this out.
