Simple light Problem, But still can't figure it out..

I installed the halo projector lights into my 2004 civic lx and sure enough, 1 month later a bulb blew. I replaced the bulb and it works but only for a while. It will work but soon after it goes out so i have to open my hood and flick it back on. When i take the bulb/wire out and touch it to metal it remains on but does not remain on by itself. The bulb is connected properly and is inserted the right way. Please help, it is becoming a constant problem!!

what do you mean by when you pull the bulb and wires out of the headlight and touch it to metal it will remain on, but not remain on by itself?

I mean when the blub is attached to the wire it should be on, but its not. It only comes on when you touch the frame of the bulb to something metal.
