My trunk lock, the one next to the drivers seat, doesn't work. I don't know what or even if it ever worked but I was trying to lock it last night and it wouldn't lock. Your supposed to be able to lock it so that the only way to open it is to have the key right? But if I lock mine all you have to do is pull the latch. I did some searching and didn't come up w/ anything. My car is an 01 LX Coupe. Any help is appreciated.

Sorry, Have to ask. You are not by chance using the valet key ?? Does the key turn at all ? Are you turning it all the way until it clicks ??

Check out the lock rod. It may have gotten loose. There is also a TSB for this issue.

I actually maybe be using the valet key. Ill check it out thanx for the info.
