broken engine mount
so the other day i had the car raised up on jackstands and i was installing a longer hose for my transmission cooler (love it and definetly recommend for automatics). i was looking around trying to figure out a way to get my hands into a very cramped area so i could slip the hose on, and what do i notice? my front engine mount is broken. not just cracked or anything, its completely broken, all around. today i called the honda dealership and their saying itll cost 140$ to replace (includes parts & labor), but i'm thinking why can't i just get this covered by the warranty? so i check if my warranty is still good, the non-powertrain warranty expired on 2/28/2005 or at 48000miles and my car has 52000. so am i screwed and will have to pay for this or can i bitch them out and be like its a month past warranty and ***** breaking? im pretty sure it was broken way back when since the engine has been vibrating a lot for a while now, i just never bothered to check out why.

$140 isnt alot though. Why dont you do it yourself. It shouldnt be too hard. Just support the oil pan, and remove the mount. That way you only pay for the part.
