b18c5 Engine
Alright guys.. I'm just thinking here, but would the b18c1 or b18c5 engine fit in the 2k1 chassis? I might be able to get either one for a decent price.. and i love my 2k1 civic... The thought is to mount that in the chassis somehow, and of course, do all the damn rewiring.. but before I even think about it i need to know if its possible. I know I'm going to get the response "why not just buy the integra type r then?" But please, save it. Any thoughts/tips/suggestions guys?

Everybody's been into this perfect engine swap for the 2k1's for a lot of times already. Aren't you guys afraid that it won't work. Definitely these sort of things would surely costs big bucks and of course problems may occur if not done properly. For me, I think I'd rather keep my engine where it is and just get some performance parts for it.
I second Zitro!
But I think zitro there in the philippines your engine is powerful enough compare to Lancer Nissan and Corollas. But here in the U.S where the land of V8 they are hungry for power. That's why many people here want to swap engine. And they want to be the king of the Freeway

If you want to an engine swap buy a 69' Camaro. Other wise Turbo, Super (Charger) .. Polish, Port, Bore, Valve Job, Angle cut the heads, Deck the block, Change the crank and cam. For the price of all of that, would equvilate the cost of what you want to do with the engine swap.
