So a couple of weekends ago my g/f invites me up to her cabin, it was a nice drive in the vic untill the gravel road. "it's like 5 min" she says.... ya if your in their old who gives a **** truck, so like a half hour later I'm there. After the weekend I end up going down this road four times. After I got back into the city I noticed some scratches on my headlights.

Does anyone know of any products available to fix these?

no nothing, there are things to prevent but not to fix

I have polished out many, many scratches with it. A buffer really helps, and do not use too heavy a touch. This stuff is great on CD's as well.

Deep scatches require sandpaper to first cut the area around the scratch down to the same level, but that's kind of advanced. I used to polish plexy display cases after the adoring public would gouge their initials into it. Can get em smooth as new.

BTW, an occasional buff with Novus will keep the luster of new headlights.

As well, lot of people simply wet-sand through various grades of increasingly finer sandpaper to get scratches out, then finish off with something like Meguiars PlastX. Until recently my headlights were pretty much scratch-free so I got away with an application and rubdown of PlastX every few weeks.

Try using that stuff you see on TV to fix scratched eyeglass lenses. It's like some kind of liquid stuff that you just wipe on. It's worth a try.
